    ABOUTWORK

IMPROVING ACCESS TO QUALITY HAIR CARE
    MY COIFFEUSE AFRO x PARITI

Ma Coiffeuse Afro has given thousands of women in France access to hair care stylists who have expertise with textured hair through its online matching platform. As a freelancer for Pariti, a platform helping black founders raise money, I was tasked to create an investor deck for Ma Coiffeuse Afro to raise its series A round. I conducted market research in the black hair market and conducted interviews with their leadership in order to create a compelling investor deck.

As part of this project, it was clear that MCA needed its brand to be refreshed and reflect its target market – primarily women in the 25-40 years segment. It wasn’t in my scope to create a new brand identity but I was able to use their brand elements in new and refreshed ways.
